What the labels mean in practice
- C, U and R are the ordinary ladder and make up the bulk of every pack: 933 cards between them, or 81% of the game.
- LR is the top ordinary rarity. There are 96 of them — 8% of the game, which is the smallest group of any ordinary label.
- P covers 111 cards. They are prints issued through promotions and events rather than sold in a normal pack, which is why they are counted separately here.
- C + is a small variant of the common label: only 8 cards carry it. We show it under its own name rather than folding it into C, because that is how it is printed.
Rarity is not the same as price
It is worth saying plainly: a rarity label describes how a card is printed, not what it is worth. CardSpicy publishes no price for Gundam cards at all, because there is no sales source for this game that we can stand behind. If you want to know how hard a card is to find, the printed label and the number of products it appears in are the two facts we can actually verify, and both are on every card page here.
Frequently asked questions
How many rarities are there in the GUNDAM CARD GAME?
We record 6 printed labels: C, U, R, LR, P, C +. The counts are on the table above, taken from the official database rather than estimated.
What is the rarest Gundam card rarity?
LR — the top ordinary rarity, printed on 96 cards. That is the smallest ordinary group in the game; promotional prints are counted separately under P.
Does a higher rarity mean a more valuable card?
Not necessarily, and we do not publish Gundam prices at all. Rarity describes the printing. The number of products a card appears in, and the colour it belongs to, are separate facts.
What does the + on a rarity mean?
It marks a parallel variant of the base label. We keep it separate because it is printed separately — for example the 8 cards labelled C + are shown as their own line, not folded into the 552 commons.
