What the table shows
- 48% of the game is common. 552 of the 1,148 cards are printed at C, and a further 204 at U.
- LR is the narrowest ordinary label. 96 cards, or 8% of the game. Every booster pack carries 12 of them; the starter decks carry 2 each, except Destiny Ignition with 4.
- P is the promotional label. 111 cards carry it, and they come almost entirely from event and giveaway products rather than from packs.
- C + is the rarest label of all. Just 8 cards carry it.
The rarity guide explains what each label is; this page shows where each one is printed.
Frequently asked questions
How many LR cards are in a booster pack?
Each of the five main booster packs holds 12 base cards printed at LR, and the sixth carries 6. Across the game there are 96 LR cards, 8% of everything printed.
Which product has the most rare cards?
The booster packs, because they are the largest products and carry the full ladder. Steel Requiem is the biggest single product in the game at 150 cards.
Are promotional cards rare?
They are a different label rather than a higher one: 111 cards carry the P label, and they come from event, giveaway and other special products instead of from booster packs.
Why do starter decks show so few card types of rarity?
Because a starter deck is built to be played as it comes. It is mostly commons with a small fixed number of high cards, rather than a spread across the whole ladder.
