Cardfight!! Vanguard: the Divinez finale and the Title Booster line

Quick answer

CardSpicy tracks what a publisher has actually put a date on, and Cardfight!! Vanguard is running two product lines at once. The main DZ booster line closes its current story arc with Booster Pack 17: Parallactic Fate on 20 November 2026, while the separate Title Booster line, which exists to fold other licensed series into the game, dates a Persona 30th Anniversary booster for 11 December 2026 and a Future Card Buddyfight booster for 20 November 2026. Two more products follow on 22 January 2027.

The reason to read the schedule as two lines rather than one is that the Title Boosters are not part of the story. They are licensed crossovers that use the game’s rules, and they answer a completely different question from the boosters that carry the anime forward.

Two product lines, one calendar

Cardfight!! Vanguard, published by Bushiroad, runs a main booster line keyed to its own animated series and a set of “Title” products that bring outside licenses into the game. Both sit on the same English release calendar, and both carry the same DZ prefix in their product codes, which is why the two can look alike at a glance. They are not alike in purpose.

The main line is the story. The DZ booster series advances the narrative of the current animated show, and its sets are named as chapters of that story. The Title line is the crossover line: it takes a different franchise and gives it a booster’s worth of cards that are legal in the game. For a collector the distinction is the difference between “the next chapter” and “a guest appearance”, and it changes which audience a given product reaches. Our glossary covers the general labels if any of the product terms here need unpicking.

The dated Cardfight!! Vanguard line

Release Product Line
2 October 2026 Title Booster Premium 01: BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Title
30 October 2026 Booster Pack 16: Parallactic Dawn Main
20 November 2026 Title Booster 03: Future Card Buddyfight – Disaster Force Title
20 November 2026 Booster Pack 17: Parallactic Fate Main
11 December 2026 Title Booster Premium 02: Persona 30th Anniversary Title
22 January 2027 Special Series 16: Ghost Meets Gal! Start Deck Main
22 January 2027 Lyrical Booster 03: Lyrical Monasterio The Legendary Idols! Main

Two things stand out on that table. The first is the double date of 20 November, where a Title booster and a main booster land on the same day, which is a deliberate pairing rather than an accident: the crossover product is placed alongside the story product so that a player buying one is looking at the other on the same shelf. The second is the pair on 22 January 2027, where a start deck and a booster release together, which is the standard way these games get a new player to the table at the same moment a new set opens up.

The Divinez finale, and what “Parallactic” means here

The three main-line boosters on the calendar belong to one arc. Booster Pack 15, subtitled Strike of Illusionary Shadows, opened it on 28 August 2026. Parallactic Dawn follows on 30 October, and Parallactic Fate closes it on 20 November. Bushiroad describes Parallactic Fate as the booster for the grand finale of the Divinez series, and notes that the accompanying animated chapter, Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Parallactic Fate, receives an advance theatrical screening in Japan in October 2026.

Parallactic Dawn carries a comic tie-in rather than an anime one, being tied to a prequel comic to the animated series and to a spin-off comic, and Bushiroad lists collaboration cards from the Like a Dragon game series inside it. That is a smaller crossover sitting inside a main-line booster, which is worth separating in the mind from a Title booster: the main line can carry guest cards, but its spine is still its own story.

Item Booster Pack 16: Parallactic Dawn
Release 30 October 2026
Card types 125, being 123 new and 2 reprints, split as RRR 20, RR 26, R 25 and C 54
Parallel types 120, split as SEC 8, FFR 19, FR 49 and SR 44
Special Feature types 79, split as EXS 8, EXRRR 8, EXC 35 and RGGR 28
Cards per pack 7
Packs per display 16
Nations Dragon Empire, Dark States, Brandt Gate, Keter Sanctuary, Stoicheia, Lyrical Monasterio

The parallel column is where the collecting economics live, and the structure is worth reading closely. A booster whose base set is 125 types carries 120 parallel types, a ratio close to one for one, and those parallels are themselves split across several treatments rather than one. That is the arrangement that produces the “the same card, but the other frame” problem for anyone trying to complete a set: a checklist of base cards is not a checklist of the cards that exist.

The closing booster, Parallactic Fate, carries 100 card types plus parallels plus a Special Feature group, with the same seven-cards-per-pack and sixteen-packs-per-display configuration. Bushiroad’s own description names a “Great Magick Caster of the Crimson Moon” unit and the debut of new Fantome units, and places the set across all six nations.

The Title Booster line: Persona, Buddyfight, BanG Dream!

Three of the dated products are Title Boosters, and taken together they show what the line is for. Title Booster Premium 01 covers BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! and released on 2 October 2026. Title Booster 03 covers Future Card Buddyfight and releases on 20 November 2026. Title Booster Premium 02 covers Persona and releases on 11 December 2026.

The Persona product is the one with the strongest cross-reference in the hobby this season, because Persona’s thirtieth anniversary is being marked in more than one Bushiroad game at the same time. Weiss Schwarz carries a Persona 30th Anniversary booster of its own, and Cardfight!! Vanguard carries this one. The two are different products for different games, with different dates, and a collector following the anniversary should not confuse the two. The Vanguard entry is a Title Booster Premium containing 90 card types, planned, plus parallels, sold as nine cards per pack across ten packs per display, and Bushiroad describes it as building decks around characters from Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5, with characters from Persona 1, Persona 2 and Persona 5 X appearing as support cards.

The Friend Card Buddyfight entry is the more self-referential of the three, since Buddyfight is another Bushiroad card game rather than an outside license, and this is not the first time it has appeared in the line. For a collector, that is a useful reminder that “crossover” in this game can mean a sister property rather than a distant one.

What this page does not claim

Four limits, stated plainly.

  • The dates and configuration are Bushiroad’s English listings. They are the facts published on the game’s own English product pages. Regional editions follow their own schedules, so a date here should not be treated as a street date for every region.
  • Card lists are not reproduced. Bushiroad publishes card-type counts, rarity splits, featured nations and the names of some units. It has not published a full checklist for every product on this calendar, and nothing here should be read as a list of the cards inside.
  • Card counts marked “planned” and “under development” can change. Bushiroad states on its own product pages that the total number of cards is under development and subject to change. A number quoted here is the number as currently published.
  • No valuation. CardSpicy makes no valuation or investment recommendation about any card or sealed product, and the rarity structure described here is a description of the product, not a forecast of what any card will be worth.

If you intend to open what you buy, our card market report covers the wider price picture and our grading page covers when a card is worth submitting. If the plan is to keep it, the question of whether to open a box or keep it sealed comes first, and the card protection guide covers what to store it in.
