Quick answer
CardSpicy separates what a card game has actually dated from what a shop has listed, and the last quarter of a Yu-Gi-Oh! anniversary year is a good place to do it. The anniversary collectible line Konami has dated runs from the Original Artwork Collection on 26 September 2026 through three Original Artwork Duel Sets in late October, the The Dark Side of Dimensions 10th Anniversary Movie Box on 19 December 2026, and into 2027 with Pride and Soul on 23 January and Rarity Collection – Climax Scene Edition – on 27 February.
A second calendar alongside the booster schedule, and a set of dates that only exists on Konami’s Japanese product pages.
Why this is a separate calendar
Konami runs two published schedules rather than one. The first is the booster calendar, which our page on the Yu-Gi-Oh! 2026 release calendar sets out in order. The second is the collector line: special sets, artwork products, constructed decks and, unusually, card protectors, each with its own date.
The two calendars answer different questions. The booster calendar tells you when new cards enter the game. The collector calendar tells you when a product that is not primarily a competitive release appears. During an anniversary year the second calendar gets busier than the first, which is what is happening now.
One caveat applies to everything below. These are Konami’s Japanese OCG listings, printed on Konami’s own product page with Japanese list prices. The English TCG runs its own dates and is often some months behind, which is why a date here should not be read as a North American street date.
The anniversary and artwork products
These are the products built around the anniversary itself and around original manga artwork rather than around a new mechanic.
| Date | Product | Konami’s Japanese list price |
|---|---|---|
| 26 September 2026 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Original Artwork Collection | 396 yen per pack |
| Late October 2026 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Original Artwork Duel Set – Yugi version | 4,950 yen |
| Late October 2026 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Original Artwork Duel Set – Jonouchi version | 4,950 yen |
| Late October 2026 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Original Artwork Duel Set – Kaiba version | 4,950 yen |
| 19 December 2026 | Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions 10th Anniversary Movie Box | 4,950 yen |
The Original Artwork Duel Sets are the most structurally interesting of these, because they are a set of three rather than a single product. Each is built around one of the three original leads, and Konami lists them at the same price, which means the choice between them is about which character’s cards you want rather than which product is larger. All three are sold through Konami Style and satellite shops rather than through the standard retail channel.
The Movie Box is listed as a special pack, which places it in the card product line rather than in general merchandise, and it is the item tying the card game to the 10th anniversary of the 2016 film. Konami’s product listing gives the date, the product type and the price; it does not publish the box’s contents.
Our page on the Yu-Gi-Oh card index covers what is inside a set as opposed to when it arrives, which is the right place to look if a product’s contents matter more to you than its date.
Into 2027: the dated collector line
Three further products are already dated into the first quarter of 2027.
| Date | Product | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 23 January 2027 | Pride and Soul | Core booster, 198 yen per pack |
| 27 February 2027 | Rarity Collection – Climax Scene Edition – | Special pack, 396 yen per pack |
| Late March 2027 | Complete File – Sinful Spoils – | Special set, 22,000 yen |
The three sit at very different price points, and the pattern is familiar from previous years: a core booster at the entry price, an all-foil collection set in the middle, and one high-priced complete file aimed at a specific collector. Our rarity guide covers what the treatments inside a collection set generally are, and our page on what is in a booster box explains how a per-pack price relates to what you actually open.
The decks and concept products between them
Two further dated products sit between the anniversary items and the 2027 line, and both are built around existing card groups rather than around anything new.
- Revolution Booster – Cubic, Marincess and Ghostrick – releases on 21 November 2026 as a concept pack, at 264 yen per pack.
- The Chronicles Deck DX Magistus releases on 5 December 2026 as a constructed deck, at 1,980 yen.
The distinction between a concept pack and a constructed deck is the one worth holding on to. A constructed deck is a playable starting point with a fixed list; a concept pack is a booster built around a theme from the existing card pool. Neither is a core booster, so neither introduces a full new set’s worth of mechanics.
The part that matters most here: Konami’s own protectors
The most directly practical run of dates on Konami’s product page is not cards at all. It is a series of Duelist Card Protectors, and they are dated on the same page as the sets.
| Date | Product | List price | Channel |
|---|---|---|---|
| 19 September 2026 | Duelist Card Protector Large Clear | 770 yen | Standard |
| 19 September 2026 | Duelist Card Protector Common Face Gold, hologram version | 770 yen | Standard |
| 19 September 2026 | Duelist Card Protector Common Face Silver, hologram version | 770 yen | Standard |
| 31 October 2026 | Duelist Card Protector The Chronicles – Sinful Spoils | 990 yen | Official Tournament Stores |
| 23 January 2027 | Duelist Card Protector The Chronicles – Evil Twin | 990 yen | Official Tournament Stores |
Two of those are restricted to Official Tournament Stores, which means they are not a general retail purchase, and the difference between a large clear protector and a printed protector is the difference between a sleeve you play with and one you would rather keep in condition. Our page on sleeves and holders for Yu-Gi-Oh cards goes through which product suits which job, and the card protection guide covers storage more broadly.
There is one more dated accessory, in a different category: an Art Expansion Box named Mouser, releasing in late December 2026 at 11,000 yen as a Konami Style limited item. It is the only item on the page that is neither a card product nor a protector.
What this page does not claim
Four limits, stated plainly.
- The Movie Box contents are not published. Konami’s product listing gives the name, the product type, the date and the price, and stops there. Nothing here should be read as a list of what is inside it.
- The film screenings and the art exhibition are not in these listings. The card game’s own product page records products, not cinema runs or exhibitions. Anything you read about those dates is not sourced from the pages this article is built on.
- These are Japanese dates. The English TCG runs its own schedule, which is a separate published calendar.
- No valuation. CardSpicy quotes the publisher’s own list prices, which are retail prices set by Konami in Japan, and makes no valuation or investment recommendation about any card or sealed product.
Frequently asked questions
When does the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions 10th Anniversary Movie Box release?
19 December 2026, at a Konami list price of 4,950 yen in Japan. Konami lists it as a special pack on its official product page, and does not publish its contents there.
What are the Yu-Gi-Oh! Original Artwork Duel Sets?
Three special sets released in late October 2026, each built around one of the original leads: a Yugi version, a Jonouchi version and a Kaiba version. All three are listed at 4,950 yen and are sold through Konami Style and satellite shops.
What Yu-Gi-Oh! products are already dated for 2027?
The core booster Pride and Soul on 23 January 2027, Rarity Collection – Climax Scene Edition – on 27 February 2027, and the Complete File – Sinful Spoils – special set in late March 2027. A Duelist Card Protector for The Chronicles – Evil Twin is also dated for 23 January 2027.
Is the 2026 booster calendar the same as this one?
No. Konami publishes a booster calendar and a separate collector line. This page covers the collector line: anniversary and artwork products, constructed decks, concept packs and protectors. The booster release order is covered on our Yu-Gi-Oh! 2026 release calendar page.
Are these dates the same everywhere?
No. The dates and prices here are from Konami’s Japanese OCG product listing. The English TCG runs its own calendar and is often some months behind the Japanese release, so a Japanese date should not be read as a North American street date.
