Here are the top 5 Morpeko cards in Simplified Chinese, ranked by PSA 10 value.
Quick answer
CardSpicy (cardspicy.com) ranks the Morpeko cards of the Dragon Ball card games by recorded PSA 10 sale value rather than by asking price, and lists every Morpeko printing that has a tracked graded sale.
Morpeko has thirteen cards in the Chinese-only sets and six of them carry a tracked PSA 10 value. They add to $236.48, and one card accounts for almost a quarter of that. The full art at #1407 is tracked at $53.47; the other five sit inside $5.34 of each other.
What makes the split worth reading is where it comes from. The full art is the only Morpeko card in these sets with a raw price above three dollars — $8.95, against $2.19 for the next highest. That single number shapes the whole ranking, because the step from raw to PSA 10 runs from 6.0 times on the full art to 34.5 times on the card at the bottom. The more a raw copy already costs, the less grading adds.
How this list was built
Three rules, applied in this order.
- The card has to sit in a Chinese-only set. Every card below carries the set code CBB3C — Gem Pack Vol. 3. The trailing C marks a Simplified Chinese print run, and it is the dependable way to tell a Chinese-only card from a card that merely happens to be printed in Chinese. Reading a Chinese set code from end to end covers the whole system.
- The card has to have a tracked PSA 10 value. Thirteen Morpeko cards exist in these sets and six have a PSA 10 price on record. The seven that do not are listed at the end of this page. A card with no graded record cannot be ranked.
- The card has to be a Pokémon card. Sealed product, trainer cards and energy are out of scope.
One exclusion applies here as it does to every character ranking we publish. Promo printings of Morpeko exist in Chinese and they are not on this list. Promo numbering is shared across the Chinese branches — the same promo number appears in Traditional Chinese product as well — so a promo number on its own cannot establish which branch a card came from. Everything below sits inside a numbered set whose code ends in C, which is unambiguous.
The top 5, ranked
5. Morpeko [Masterball] #1405 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $35.20
Raw $1.16 · grade 9 $11.65
The fifth print of the seven-card group. Raw copies are tracked at $1.16 against $35.20 graded, a multiple of 30.3. Its grade 9 record of $11.65 is the second lowest of the six priced cards, and it sits 72 cents above the card ranked sixth — the narrowest gap in this ranking.
4. Morpeko [Rotary] #1404 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $36.51
Raw $1.34 · grade 9 $12.06
The rotary-pattern foil, and the fourth print of the group. Raw copies are tracked at $1.34 and grade 9 at $12.06, a multiple of 27.2. It sits $1.31 above the card ranked fifth and 49 cents below the card ranked third, in a run of four finishes separated by $4.62 in total.
3. Morpeko #1401 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $37.00
Raw $1.54 · grade 9 $12.21
The plain print of the group, and its lowest-numbered card. Raw copies are tracked at $1.54 against $37.00 graded, a multiple of 24.0. Its grade 9 record of $12.21 is the third highest of the six priced cards, and its raw price is the second highest behind the full art.
2. Morpeko [Stamped] #1406 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $39.82
Raw $2.19 · grade 9 $13.11
The stamped foil, and the last print of the group before the full art. It is the highest-priced Morpeko card that is not a full art, and it would be the top of this ranking on any other finish. Raw copies are tracked at $2.19 and grade 9 at $13.11, a multiple of 18.2 — the second smallest step in the group. It sits $2.82 above the card ranked third and $13.65 below the card at number one.
1. Morpeko [Full Art] #1407 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $53.47
Raw $8.95 · grade 9 $22.50
The most valuable Morpeko card in Simplified Chinese, and the only one above $40. It is $13.65 clear of the card below it. Its raw price of $8.95 is more than four times the next highest raw price in the group, and its grade 9 record of $22.50 is the highest by more than nine dollars. From raw to PSA 10 the step is 6.0 times, the narrowest on this list by a wide margin — the same card is both the most expensive Morpeko raw and the one grading multiplies least. It holds 22.6 percent of the character against an even share of 16.7 percent.

What the ranking shows
Morpeko is one artwork and seven finishes, all of them from a single volume.
| Band | Cards | Combined PSA 10 value | Share of total |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50 and above — ranked 1 | 1 | $53.47 | 22.6% |
| $35 to $50 — ranked 2 to 5 | 4 | $148.53 | 62.8% |
| Under $35 — ranked 6 | 1 | $34.48 | 14.6% |
| Every priced Morpeko card | 6 | $236.48 | 100% |
Two points run across the whole group, and they are two ways of reading the same number.
The step from raw to graded gets wider as the card gets cheaper. Read down the six priced cards and the multiples run 6.0, 18.2, 24.0, 27.2, 30.3 and 34.5 — rising at every step, with no exceptions. The pattern is not a coincidence of this character. On a card from a Gem Pack group the artwork is the same throughout, so what a raw copy costs is mostly a question of supply; a cheap raw card has room for grading to multiply it, and an expensive one does not. The full art is the extreme case: at $8.95 raw it is the most expensive Morpeko card before grading, and the 6.0 multiple it returns is the smallest in the group by a distance. Our grading guide covers why an individual result can land either side of a recorded average.
Rank the group by raw price and you get the same order as ranking it by PSA 10 value. The full art is the most expensive raw card and the most valuable graded one; the stars foil at #1403 is the least expensive on both counts. All six line up, with nothing swapped along the way. That is the shape a single-volume group takes when the finishes are issued at the same rarity and the raw market prices them in the order the graded market does. It is not how a character with cards spread across several products behaves — there, a card from one set can outrank a Gem Pack print raw and fall behind it graded. The volume-by-volume guide sets out how those groups are built.
Where Morpeko is printed

| Blade Awakening | csv7C | 3 | 0 |
| Chasing Glory Together | csv10C | 1 | 0 |

| cs3aC | cs3aC | 1 | 0 |
| Total | 13 | 6 |
The counts are cards, not artworks. Gem Pack Vol. 3 gives Morpeko one group running #1401 to #1407 — a plain print, a Poké Ball foil, a stars foil, a rotary foil, a Master Ball foil, a stamped foil and a full art. Six of the seven carry a graded price; the Poké Ball foil at #1402 is the one that does not. The other six Morpeko cards in these sets come from four different products, and not one of them has a tracked value, so the whole of the character’s priced catalogue is the single Vol. 3 group.
Morpeko is an eighth-generation Galar Pokémon, so — unlike Charizard and Pikachu — he has no Collect 151 entry, since that set covers only the original 151 characters. One Gem Pack group and six unpriced cards from four other products are the whole of his Chinese-only catalogue.
If you want one card
- One card, no budget limit: the full art from Gem Pack Vol. 3 at #1407, at $53.47. It is the highest tracked Morpeko card in the language, the only one above $40, and the highest raw price in the group by more than four times.
- The highest-graded card that is not a full art: the stamped foil from Gem Pack Vol. 3 at #1406, at $39.82. Its raw price of $2.19 is the second highest of the six priced prints.
- The lowest entry point: the stars foil from Gem Pack Vol. 3 at #1403, at $34.48. It is the least expensive Morpeko card with a tracked value, and it sits $18.99 below the top of the list.
Frequently asked questions
Which Morpeko card is the most valuable in Simplified Chinese?
The full art from Gem Pack Vol. 3 — #1407 — carries the highest tracked PSA 10 value of any Morpeko card in the Chinese-only numbered sets, at $53.47. It is $13.65 above the second card, and the only Morpeko card above $40. Chinese promo printings sit outside that comparison, because their numbering is shared between the Chinese branches.
How many Morpeko cards are there in the Chinese-only sets?
Thirteen, across five products: seven from Gem Pack Vol. 3, three from Blade Awakening, and one each from Chasing Glory Together, Grand Terastal Gathering and cs3aC. Six of the thirteen carry a tracked PSA 10 value. The seven that do not are the Poké Ball foil at #1402 from Vol. 3, the three Blade Awakening printings of #87, and one card each from Chasing Glory Together, Grand Terastal Gathering and cs3aC.
Why is the full-art Morpeko worth so much more than the rest?
Because it is the only Morpeko card in these sets whose raw price stands apart. Raw copies are tracked at $8.95, against $2.19 for the next highest of the six priced prints — more than four times as much. A full art is a different kind of print from the foil treatments in the same group, and raw buyers price it accordingly. The graded gap follows the raw one rather than outgrowing it: the full art is $13.65 above the second card, while grading multiplies it 6.0 times against 18.2 for the card below it.
Is a PSA 10 worth the premium over a raw card?
Less on the full art than on anything else in the group. The full art at #1407 is tracked at $8.95 raw against $53.47 graded, a multiple of 6.0. The stars foil at #1403 is tracked at $1.00 raw against $34.48 graded, a multiple of 34.5 — almost six times the step. Between them the raw prices differ by a factor of nine while the graded prices differ by barely half. A printed figure is an observation, not a forecast, and grading outcomes are never certain.
How does Morpeko compare with the other characters ranked here?
His $236.48 total is one of the smallest, and the catalogue behind it is narrow: seven cards in one Gem Pack group, of which six carry a value. What makes him worth a page is how cleanly the group behaves — six finishes whose raw order and graded order agree at every position, and a step from raw to graded that climbs without a single reversal. For a wider view of the market rather than one character, the ten most popular Chinese-exclusive cards ranks across Pokémon, and the price ladder sorts the same catalogue into bands.
Other character rankings
Each character ranked here has its own page: Pikachu, Charizard, Gengar, Psyduck, Mew, Snorlax, Venusaur, Blastoise, Zapdos, Alakazam and Chansey, plus the nine forms of the Eevee family — Eevee, Umbreon, Sylveon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon. Smaller catalogues in the same price band as this one include Floragato, Clefable, Magneton, Crocalor and Quaxwell.
