Ceruledge has the sharpest first step of any character ranking published here. The most valuable Ceruledge card in the Chinese-only set codes is 3.7 times the second, and then the list stops moving: eleven cards sit inside a band twelve dollars wide.
What makes the shape unusual is where it comes from. Nineteen Ceruledge cards exist across these sets and fourteen carry a price, and thirteen of those fourteen come out of just two products — Gem Pack Vol. 3 and Vol. 5, which each give him a complete group of seven. The two commissioned art rares at the top of those groups finish first and second.
How this list was built
Three rules, applied in this order.
- The card has to sit in a Chinese-only set. Every card below carries a set code ending in C — CBB3C, CBB5C, csv8C. That trailing letter marks a Simplified Chinese print run, and it is the dependable way to tell a Chinese-only card from a card that merely happens to be printed in Chinese. Reading a Chinese set code from end to end covers the whole system.
- The card has to have a tracked PSA 10 value. Nineteen Ceruledge cards exist across these sets and fourteen have a PSA 10 price on record. The five that do not are the two Reward Round foils, the ex from Grand Terastal Gathering, the ex from CSV9C and the base print of the Vol. 5 group — none of them has a graded sold record yet, and a card with no price cannot be ranked.
- The card has to be a Pokémon card. Sealed product, trainer cards and energy are out of scope.
One exclusion applies here as it does to every character ranking we publish. Promo printings of Ceruledge exist in Chinese and they are not on this list. Promo numbering is shared across the Chinese branches — the same promo number appears in Traditional Chinese product as well — so a promo number on its own cannot establish which branch a card came from. Everything below sits inside a numbered set whose code ends in C, which is unambiguous.

10. Ceruledge [Stars] #1503 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $37
Raw $1.59 · grade 9 $12.26
The stars-pattern foil, and the second of four consecutive cards here spread across 54 cents. Behind it at eleventh and twelfth sit the Master Ball foil and the rotary pattern, so four treatments of one group finish inside a single dollar.
9. Ceruledge #1501 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $37
Raw $1.62 · grade 9 $12.29
The base print of the Vol. 3 group — the lowest number in the seven-card run. It is the first of the four consecutive Vol. 3 treatments that finish within 54 cents of one another, and its raw price of $1.62 is below two dollars, like ten of the fourteen priced cards here.
8. Ceruledge #41 — Brilliant Fantasy (csv8C) — $38
Raw $1.74 · grade 9 $12.36
The one card in this ranking that comes out of neither Gem Pack volume. It is a single Brilliant Fantasy print, and it slots into the plateau at eighth — 94 cents above the card below it and 88 cents below the card above. Removing it would not change the shape of the list at all.
7. Ceruledge #2503 — Gem Pack Vol. 5 (CBB5C) — $39
Raw $1.84 · grade 9 $12.52
One of five Vol. 5 prints inside the top seven, and the highest of the four that sit below the volume’s art rare. Its grade 9 record of $12.52 is 6.8 times its raw price, which is the pattern on every card in this ranking: the middle grade is worth more than the ungraded card, everywhere.
6. Ceruledge #2504 — Gem Pack Vol. 5 (CBB5C) — $39
Raw $1.99 · grade 9 $12.61
Nineteen point eight times its raw price in a PSA 10 holder, and 32 percent of the way there in a grade 9 one. The three Vol. 5 prints at fifth, sixth and seventh carry raw prices of $2.24, $1.99 and $1.84 — 40 cents across three positions on the list.
5. Ceruledge #2505 — Gem Pack Vol. 5 (CBB5C) — $41
Raw $2.24 · grade 9 $12.98
The second-highest Vol. 5 print, behind only the volume’s art rare at number two, and the last card here above $40. Everything from second place down to twelfth sits between $36.68 and $48.20.
4. Ceruledge #2506 — Gem Pack Vol. 5 (CBB5C) — $44
Raw $2.75 · grade 9 $13.99
Two cents below the card above it, and $3.89 below the one above that. Third and fourth are separated by two cents; second and third by three dollars and eighty-nine. That contrast is the whole middle of this ranking in one pair.
3. Ceruledge [Stamped] #1506 — Gem Pack Vol. 3 (CBB3C) — $44
Raw $3.16 · grade 9 $14.53
The stamped foil, and the highest Vol. 3 card other than the art rare. Its raw price of $3.16 is the third highest in the ranking, behind $32.67 and $6.99 — which says most of what there is to say about how compressed this list is.
2. Ceruledge #2507 — Gem Pack Vol. 5 (CBB5C) — $48
Raw $6.99 · grade 9 $19.68
The commissioned art rare of Gem Pack Vol. 5, the highest number in its group of seven, and the second most valuable Ceruledge card in the language. It sits $131.09 below the card above it and $3.89 above the one below. Its raw price of $6.99 is the second highest here.

The commissioned art rare of Gem Pack Vol. 3, the highest number in its group of seven, and the only Ceruledge card in the language above $100. Its raw price of $32.67 is more than four times the $6.99 recorded for the card at number two — so the gap at the top of this list exists in the ungraded market as well, and is not an artefact of grading. It holds 26.0 percent of the character’s total on its own, and the step down to second place is 3.7 times, the widest first step in any character ranking on this site.
What the ranking shows
Ceruledge is a character whose value sits in one card and then repeats itself. Sixty-four percent of everything he is worth is inside an eleven-card band, and the cards in that band are almost interchangeable.

Two further patterns run across the whole group.
The first step is wider than any other ranking here. First place is 3.7 times second; the next widest opening step on this site is 2.2 times. After that the list barely moves — second to twelfth is an $11.52 range, inside which seven of the ten gaps are under a dollar. The top four hold 45.8 percent and the top ten hold 79.4 percent, which is a lower concentration than most characters on this site show, and it comes entirely from that one card.
Thirteen of the fourteen priced cards come out of two volumes. Gem Pack Vol. 3 supplies seven and Gem Pack Vol. 5 six, with a single Brilliant Fantasy print at eighth. The two volumes do not contribute equally in value: Vol. 3 carries $406 of the $690 total and Vol. 5 carries $246, a difference that is entirely the art rare at number one. On every one of the fourteen priced cards here the grade 9 record sits above the raw price, so the middle grade is never the discount entry point it is on some other characters.

The counts are cards, not artworks. Gem Pack prints every Pokémon in a volume as a group of seven treatments — a Poké Ball foil, a Master Ball foil, a rotary pattern, a stars pattern, a stamped foil and the art rare at the top of the group — so two volumes give Ceruledge two complete ladders rather than two cards. The Vol. 3 group runs #1501 to #1507 and the Vol. 5 group runs #2501 to #2507, and the commissioned art rare at the top of each one finishes first and second.
Collect 151 does not print Ceruledge at all, and cannot: that set is built around the first 151 Pokémon, and Ceruledge is a Paldea-generation character. The same is true of every other character in the later generations, which is why the set appears in some rankings on this site and not others. The four commissioned Collect 151 art rares are all Pikachu.
The four non-Gem-Pack prints are the least useful part of the character. Reward Round gives Ceruledge two foils and neither has a PSA 10 record; Grand Terastal Gathering and CSV9C each print an ex, and neither ex carries a price either; Brilliant Fantasy prints one card, at $38. Four products outside Gem Pack therefore contribute five prints between them, of which one is priced.

- The lowest raw price in the top three: the Vol. 3 stamped foil at #1506, at $44. Raw copies are tracked at $3.16, so it is the third-place card on the list at the price of an eighth-place one.

Which Ceruledge card is the most valuable in Simplified Chinese?
Ceruledge from Gem Pack Vol. 3 — #1507 — carries the highest tracked PSA 10 value among Ceruledge cards in Chinese-only numbered sets, at $179. It is the only Ceruledge card in the language above $100. Chinese promo printings sit outside that comparison, because their numbering is shared between the Chinese branches.
Are these cards Simplified Chinese exclusives?
The two at the top are, and the rest are not. The art rares in Gem Pack Vol. 3 and Vol. 5 are commissioned artworks that have only been released in the Chinese print run, and they hold first and second place here. The other five treatments in each of those groups — the Poké Ball foil, the Master Ball foil, the rotary pattern, the stars pattern and the stamped foil — use artwork that also exists outside the Chinese line, as do the prints from Reward Round, Brilliant Fantasy, Grand Terastal Gathering and CSV9C. “Chinese-only” describes the print run, not every artwork inside it, and the commissioned-artwork side of that distinction is worth reading separately.
Why is there such a large gap between the first and second cards?
The ranking follows tracked PSA 10 values, and the two figures are far apart: $179.29 against $48.20. The gap is not created by grading — raw copies of the same two cards are tracked at $32.67 and $6.99, a difference of almost five times. The Vol. 3 art rare is simply a different order of card from the rest of the character’s print run, which is why the step below it is the widest on this site.
Is a PSA 10 worth the premium over a raw card?
It depends which end of the list you are on. The base Vol. 3 print at ninth starts raw at $1.62 and trades for $37 graded, a multiple of about 23, and the card at the bottom of the ranking multiplies 37 times. At the top it narrows: the first two cards multiply 5.5 and 6.9 times, because both carry raw prices of $32.67 and $6.99 rather than one or two dollars. One pattern holds across all fourteen priced cards — the grade 9 record is above the raw price everywhere, so the middle grade is not the cheaper route into the card. Grading outcomes are never certain, and nothing here is a prediction about what any individual card will grade at.
How does Ceruledge compare with the other characters ranked here?
His $690 combined total places him above Psyduck and below the three original Eevee evolutions — Vaporeon at $813, Flareon at $843 and Jolteon at $854. His $179 top card is higher than Vaporeon’s $94 and Flareon’s $89, and lower than Jolteon’s $188 — because Ceruledge keeps almost nothing between first place and twelfth, while the Eevee family spreads its value across far more cards.
