Gem Pack Vol. 1, card by card

By CardSpicy Founder · October 4, 2026

Quick answer

Gem Pack Vol. 1 opened the Simplified Chinese all-foil line, printed under CBB1C and released on 17 January 2025. It is the volume the Paldea starters share with Pikachu. This page is the checklist: every card we track in it, with each treatment listed separately.

We currently track 57 cards in this set, covering 10 characters. The deepest single group is Pikachu at 9 tracked printings. The table below lists them by the number printed on the card.

Pikachu leads the volume at nine tracked printings. Behind him sit two of the Paldea starters, Fuecoco and Sprigatito, at eight each, with Floragato and Quaxly at six. Because a group in this line runs the full ladder of treatments, the total sits well above the number of Pokemon in it.

A Gem Pack card is identified by its group and its treatment rather than by a single set number, so the number column below is the position inside that Pokemon’s group. Each treatment is collected separately, which is why one Pokemon fills several rows.

57 tracked cards. Where we hold a graded copy its price is linked in the table; where we do not, the row is a sourcing request — send it and we go and find the card for you.

Frequently asked questions

What is Gem Pack Vol. 1?

It is volume 1 of the Simplified Chinese all-foil Gem Pack line, printed under CBB1C and released on 17 January 2025. The line is organised by Pokemon rather than as one numbered checklist, so each volume holds a handful of groups, each with its own ladder of treatments.

Why does one Pokemon have so many entries?

A Gem Pack card does not have one position in the set. Each Pokemon has a group, and inside the group sits a ladder of treatments: a plain print, then foil treatments such as Pokeball, Stars, Rotary, Masterball and a stamped version. Each treatment is collected separately, so each gets its own row.

Is Gem Pack Vol. 1 the same set as the Paldea starters?

It is where the Simplified Chinese line first put the Paldea starters into an all-foil format. The volume is built around a small group of Pokemon rather than a full regional set, so the starters appear here as groups with their own treatment ladders rather than as a numbered run.

Are Gem Pack cards exclusive to Simplified Chinese?

The line is Simplified Chinese only. Many of its cards carry artwork commissioned for the Chinese market, which is how some of them ended up among the most-collected Chinese-exclusive cards. The set as a whole is specific to the branch.

Cards are listed by the number printed on them. Where a card appears in more than one treatment, each treatment is listed separately because each is collected separately. Prices quoted on this site are secondary-market observations at the dates cited.
