Quick answer

CardSpicy indexes cards, so this page separates what the publisher prints from what has been read off reveal images. EB-05, officially Extra Booster ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2, adds seven Leader card types to a set the product page sizes at 75 types plus 2 DON!! types. Six of those Leaders return under card numbers that already exist in the official database; one is new, and its number is printed differently on two Bandai pages. The release sits at the end of October 2026.

One new Leader, six returning ones, and a card number that two official pages disagree about.

What an Extra Booster is, and why that matters here

The One Piece Card Game runs on two product shapes, and the difference decides how EB-05 behaves. Main booster sets carry an OP number and move the game’s story forward. Extra Boosters carry an EB number and are built around a theme, supporting Leaders that already exist rather than introducing a new arc.

EB-05 is the second Extra Booster built around the series’ heroines, following EB-03. Bandai describes it as adding cards featuring characters who have played important roles through the story, and as giving new options to a range of Leaders already in play. That framing matters for a collector in a specific way: an Extra Booster is where a treatment gets introduced or a character gets a first Leader card, not where a new set of characters arrives.

Where it sits in the release sequence is on our list of every One Piece set in order, and the codes themselves are set out in the full list of One Piece card set codes.

The release window, and the date that is disputed

EB-05 was announced on 19 June 2026, the day after a publisher presentation that also confirmed the animated ONE PIECE HEROINES project. At announcement, the product pages printed the month rather than a day: October 2026, with no date, and no card images at all.

Retailer listings have since narrowed it, and they do not agree with each other. Two dates circulate, one day apart, and the difference is not arbitrary.

Market Date listed Day Status
Japan 31 October 2026 Saturday Retailer street date; a Saturday, which is the usual Japanese release day
English 30 October 2026 Friday Distributor and retailer listings
Publisher product page October 2026 — Month only, no day printed

We record both rather than picking one, because the honest position is that the publisher has not printed a day and the two retail dates differ by the amount you would expect if the Japanese and English releases are a day apart. Whichever holds, the practical effect is the same: this is a release in which the Japanese and English printings arrive in the same week rather than weeks apart, which is a change from how the game’s earlier sets shipped.

The seven Leaders

Four of the seven are confirmed by number, because they are returning cards whose statistics are already published. Three details about the group are worth keeping in view.

Leader Card number Colours Status of the number
Nico Robin EB05-010 or EB05-016 Green / Yellow New card; two official pages print different numbers
Shirahoshi One Piece card OP11-022 artworkOP11-022 Green / Yellow Official; EB-05 illustration reported
Nami One Piece card OP11-041 artworkOP11-041 Blue / Yellow Official; EB-05 illustration reported
Nefeltari Vivi One Piece card EB03-001 artworkEB03-001 Red / Blue Official; carried over from EB-03
Jewelry Bonney One Piece card OP13-100 artworkOP13-100 Yellow Official; EB-05 illustration reported
Rebecca One Piece card OP15-039 artworkOP15-039 Blue Official; EB-05 illustration reported
Boa Hancock One Piece card OP14-041 artworkOP14-041 Blue / Yellow Official; EB-05 illustration reported

The first detail is that six of the seven are not new cards. They are new illustrations on card numbers that already exist, which means their effect text, colour, Life and attributes can be read from the publisher’s own card list rather than from a preview image. For anyone sorting EB-05 Leaders, that is the difference between a card you can look up and a card you have to wait for.

The second is that the new Robin Leader’s number is genuinely unsettled. One number appears on the reveal images and a different one on the event Leader list, both published by Bandai. We are not resolving that here; we are recording that it is unresolved, because it affects which row of a checklist the card belongs to.

The third is that a seventh heroine joins the list rather than replacing one. Six returning Leaders plus a new entry is seven, which matches the “7 Leader card types” line on the product page.

The new Nico Robin Leader

The new card is a Green and Yellow Robin Leader, and the ability read from the reveal material has two parts: a once-per-turn trigger that moves the top card of your deck into your Life area when one of your qualifying Characters is knocked out, and a once-per-turn Main ability that stands one qualifying Character of 6000 power or less back up.

Two cautions on that description. First, both abilities are gated on a printed attribute keyword, and the reveal images we hold do not print that keyword legibly, so we have not restated it; a reader building around this Leader should take the keyword from the card rather than from coverage. Second, the effect is reported rather than published: the publisher has not put EB-05 rows into its card list, so nothing about this Leader’s text is confirmable against an official database yet.

What the two abilities do together is easier to state than the wording. One recovers Life when a Character is lost; the other lets a Character attack twice in a turn, or stay standing so it is harder to remove. A Leader that both sustains and pressures is a design the game has not had in a heroine deck before, which is why the card has drawn the attention it has.

Official line versus reported detail

This is the split that decides how much of an EB-05 story you can rely on. It is worth setting out plainly.

Item Publisher Reported
Set size 75 card types plus 2 DON!! types —
Leaders 7 Leader card types Which seven; only Robin is new
Rarity tier names Super Rare, Secret, Special card, Parallel, Super Parallel No per-tier counts for EB-05
Card images None at announcement Previews circulated by retailers and community trackers
Chase cards Not named Heroines SP Nico Robin and Nami
Robin’s number Two pages, two numbers —

The tier names are the useful half of that table. They are published even though no counts are, which means the shape of the set’s rarity ladder is official and only the distribution is unknown. That is a better position than it sounds: it tells you which treatments exist before you open anything.

Why the six returning Leaders are the useful half

For a player, the new Robin Leader is the reason to buy. For a collector, the six returning numbers are the more tractable half of the set, for a reason that has nothing to do with how good they are.

Each of the six already exists in the official card list with full statistics, so the difference between an EB-05 printing and an earlier one is the illustration and the treatment rather than the card. That makes the older printings the reference point for what the new one adds, and it is the same distinction we cover in One Piece print variants: the same card number can be several different products, and the number alone does not tell you which one you are holding.

Four of the six also have character pages on this site with the full record for each, starting with Nico Robin and Nami. If you are sorting an EB-05 lot, those are the pages that tell you which of a character’s printings you have.

What is not known yet

Three things, and they are all the kind of thing that gets filled in within days of a release rather than announced in advance. The per-tier rarity distribution is unpublished, so pull rates for the SP cards do not exist as figures and anyone quoting one is inferring. The full card list is unpublished, so the set list on this site cannot yet include EB-05 rows. And the treatment count is unpublished, so the number of parallels per character is unknown.

We will add EB-05 to the index when Bandai publishes the list, which is how the One Piece card index has been built throughout. Until then, the recorded position for the set is the one in the chase-card index and in our guide to how One Piece card value is read, both of which list what is confirmed and mark what is not.

Frequently asked questions

When does One Piece EB-05 come out?

Japan is listed for Saturday 31 October 2026 by retailers, and English listings carry 30 October 2026. Bandai’s own product page prints only “October 2026” with no day. Either way, the Japanese and English printings arrive in the same week.

How many Leaders are in EB-05?

Seven Leader card types, per Bandai’s product page. Six are returning Leaders reprinted with new illustrations, under card numbers that already exist: Shirahoshi OP11-022, Nami OP11-041, Nefeltari Vivi EB03-001, Jewelry Bonney OP13-100, Rebecca OP15-039 and Boa Hancock OP14-041. The seventh is a new Nico Robin Leader.

What is the Nico Robin Leader’s card number?

Unresolved. Two Bandai pages print different numbers for it: one number on the reveal images and a different one in the event Leader list. We record both rather than choosing, and the number will settle when the official card list gains EB-05 rows.

How big is the set?

Bandai’s product page lists 75 card types plus 2 DON!! types, including 7 Leader card types. Per-tier counts are not published, so the distribution between rarities is unknown. The named tiers are Super Rare, Secret, Special card, Parallel and Super Parallel.

Is EB-05 a main set or an Extra Booster?

An Extra Booster. It carries an EB code rather than an OP code, is built around a theme rather than an arc, and is designed to support Leaders already in play. EB-03 was the first Heroines Edition, and EB-05 is the second.
