Here are the top 5 Froslass cards in Simplified Chinese, ranked by PSA 10 value.
Quick answer
CardSpicy (cardspicy.com) ranks the Froslass cards of the Dragon Ball card games by recorded PSA 10 sale value rather than by asking price, and lists every Froslass printing that has a tracked graded sale.
Six products print Froslass in the Chinese-only sets, and prices exist for one of them. Sixteen Froslass cards are on record; the seven that carry a tracked PSA 10 value all come from Gem Pack Vol. 4, and the other nine — spread across five other products — have no graded sold record at all.
That is what separates this list from the ones around it. Most characters here have cards in several products and a price to go with each. Froslass has the opposite shape: a long catalogue of sixteen prints, and a single group where the market has actually settled. The top of the ranked list is $59.95 and the bottom is $36.99 — a range of $23 covering seven cards, while the other nine sit at nothing.
How this list was built
Three rules, applied in this order.
- The card has to sit in a Chinese-only set. Every card below carries a set code ending in C — CBB4C in all seven cases, with the unpriced prints running through csv7C, csv9.5C, cs3bC, CSM2aC and csv6C. That trailing letter marks a Simplified Chinese print run, and it is the dependable way to tell a Chinese-only card from a card that merely happens to be printed in Chinese. Reading a Chinese set code from end to end covers the whole system.
- The card has to have a tracked PSA 10 value. Sixteen Froslass cards exist in these sets and seven have a PSA 10 price on record. The nine that do not run from CSM2aC and True Mystery through Blade Awakening, Grand Terastal Gathering and cs3bC — a wider spread of products than the priced cards have. A card with no price cannot be ranked.
- The card has to be a Pokémon card. Sealed product, trainer cards and energy are out of scope.
One exclusion applies here as it does to every character ranking we publish. Promo printings of Froslass exist in Chinese and they are not on this list. Promo numbering is shared across the Chinese branches — the same promo number appears in Traditional Chinese product as well — so a promo number on its own cannot establish which branch a card came from. Everything below sits inside a numbered set whose code ends in C, which is unambiguous.
The top 5, ranked
5. Froslass #1202 — Gem Pack Vol. 4 (CBB4C) — $37.41
Raw $1.59 · grade 9 $12.17
The last card in this top five by a margin of five cents, and one of four here priced within half a dollar of each other. Raw copies sit at $1.59 against a grade 9 record of $12.17, so the step from raw to PSA 10 is 23.5 times — high, and typical of the bottom of this list.
4. Froslass #1203 — Gem Pack Vol. 4 (CBB4C) — $37.46
Raw $1.60 · grade 9 $12.19
Five cents above the card below it, and the second of the four near-identical treatments in this group. Its raw price of $1.60 is the third lowest of any Froslass card, and the multiple to PSA 10 is 23.4. Cards four and five here differ in value by five cents and in raw price by a single cent.
3. Froslass #1205 — Gem Pack Vol. 4 (CBB4C) — $40.49
Raw $2.25 · grade 9 $13.07
The first card on this list above $40, and the point at which the group starts to separate. Raw copies are tracked at $2.25 against a grade 9 record of $13.07, a multiple of 18.0. It holds 13.8 percent of everything the character is worth in these sets.
2. Froslass #1206 — Gem Pack Vol. 4 (CBB4C) — $43.35
Raw $2.84 · grade 9 $13.93
The second-highest Froslass card, and the second of the two that stand clear of the pack. Its raw price of $2.84 is the second highest of any Froslass card, and its grade 9 record of $13.93 is also the second highest. The step from raw to PSA 10 is 15.3 times, well below the multiples recorded further down the list.
1. Froslass #1207 — Gem Pack Vol. 4 (CBB4C) — $59.95
Raw $5.50 · grade 9 $17.91
The most valuable Froslass card in Simplified Chinese, and the only one above $50. Its raw price of $5.50 is more than double that of any other Froslass print, and its grade 9 record of $17.91 is the highest in the group — so on this card every grade steps up rather than just the top one. It holds 20.5 percent of the character on its own, the largest single share, and the step from raw to PSA 10 is 10.9 times, the narrowest on the list.

What the ranking shows
Froslass has a wide catalogue and a narrow market. Sixteen cards exist across six products, but every price on this list belongs to a single group of seven, and the spread inside that group is $22.96.
| Band | Cards | Combined PSA 10 value | Share of total |
|---|---|---|---|
| $40 – $100 — ranked 1 to 3 | 3 | $144 | 49.1% |
| Under $40 — ranked 4 to 7 | 4 | $149 | 50.9% |
| Every priced Froslass card | 7 | $293 | 100% |
Two further points run across the whole group.
Nine of the sixteen cards have no price, and they cover more products than the priced ones do. The seven priced cards are all from Gem Pack Vol. 4. The nine unpriced cards are spread over CSM2aC, True Mystery, Blade Awakening, Grand Terastal Gathering and cs3bC — five separate products, none of which has produced a graded sale on record for this character. That is not a statement about rarity; it is a statement about where Froslass has been graded and sold, and it means a collector looking for a Froslass card outside Vol. 4 is looking at printings with no established market. The volume-by-volume guide sets out how the Gem Pack groups are built.
Inside the one priced group, the four lowest-priced cards are effectively one price. Ranks four through seven run from $37.46 down to $36.99 — four separate treatments, separated by forty-seven cents in total, with raw prices between $1.50 and $1.60. Only the top two cards pull away, and the gap between first and second alone is $16.60, more than the entire spread of the bottom four.
Where Froslass is printed
| Product | Set code | Froslass cards | Priced |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gem Pack Vol. 4 | CBB4C | 7 | 7 |
| Blade Awakening | csv7C | 3 | 0 |
| Grand Terastal Gathering | csv9.5C | 2 | 0 |
| cs3bC | cs3bC | 2 | 0 |
| CSM2aC | CSM2aC | 1 | 0 |
| True Mystery | csv6C | 1 | 0 |
| Total | 16 | 7 |
The counts are cards, not artworks. Gem Pack Vol. 4 supplies the whole ranked list: Froslass occupies a single group there, running #1201 to #1207, which is the seven-card treatment structure the Gem Pack volumes use for every Pokémon they cover. Blade Awakening prints the same card number three times at #59 — a plain version and two ball foils — and contributes no price at all. Grand Terastal Gathering carries two treatments at #44, cs3bC two cards at #175 and #40, CSM2aC one at #32, and True Mystery one Ex print at #137.
Froslass is a fourth-generation Pokémon, so — unlike Charizard and Pikachu — she has no Collect 151 entry, since that set covers only the original 151 characters. Her priced cards come entirely from the Gem Pack structure, which is why they split into one group of seven and nothing else.
If you want one card
- One card, no budget limit: the Vol. 4 print at #1207, at $59.95. It is the highest tracked Froslass card in the language, the only one above $50, and the only card in the group where the grade 9 price is also the highest.
- The card that grades up least: the same #1207, at 10.9 times its raw price. It is the one card on this list where a raw copy of $5.50 already carries a visible share of the graded value, and the narrowest multiple of the seven.
- The lowest entry point: the Vol. 4 print at #1201, at $36.99. It is the last Froslass card in the ranking, and the whole bottom four sit within forty-seven cents of each other, so there is no meaningful difference in price between any of them.
Frequently asked questions
Which Froslass card is the most valuable in Simplified Chinese?
The Gem Pack Vol. 4 print at #1207 carries the highest tracked PSA 10 value of any Froslass card in the Chinese-only numbered sets, at $59.95. It is the only Froslass card in the language above $50, and the next card below it is tracked at $43.35. Chinese promo printings sit outside that comparison, because their numbering is shared between the Chinese branches.
How many Froslass cards are there in the Chinese-only sets?
Sixteen, across six products, but only seven of them carry a tracked PSA 10 value. Those seven are all from Gem Pack Vol. 4. The nine that do not come from Blade Awakening, Grand Terastal Gathering, cs3bC, CSM2aC and True Mystery.
Why do only seven Froslass cards have a price?
Because the Gem Pack Vol. 4 group is the only place this character has been graded and sold in any volume on record. The nine unpriced cards sit in five other products, several of them recent printings that have not yet produced a tracked graded sale. A card with no price cannot be ranked, so the list is short even though the catalogue is not.
Is a PSA 10 worth the premium over a raw card?
On the cheaper cards, clearly: the four prints between #1201 and #1204 are tracked raw at $1.50 to $1.60 and graded at $36.99 to $37.46, multiples between 23.4 and 24.7. At the top it narrows — #1207 multiplies 10.9 times — because a raw copy of $5.50 already carries part of the value. Grading outcomes are never certain, and nothing here is a prediction about what any individual card will grade at.
How does Froslass compare with the other characters ranked here?
Her $293 combined total is among the smallest of the character rankings published on this site, and she is the only one where a majority of the character’s cards carry no price at all. Her top card at $59.95 is well below the ceilings elsewhere — the Gengar, Charizard and Eevee-family rankings all reach into the hundreds. For a wider view of the market rather than one character, the ten most popular Chinese-exclusive cards ranks across Pokémon, and the price ladder sorts the same catalogue into bands.
Other character rankings
Each character ranked here has its own page: Pikachu, Charizard, Gengar, Psyduck, and the nine forms of the Eevee family — Eevee, Umbreon, Sylveon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon. Ceruledge and Floragato are ranked separately.
